Enjoy a two-wheeled “Taste of Monterey Park” on Tuesday, October 9th with your friends at BikeSGV, in partnership with the Greater Monterey Park Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Metro’s Bicycle Education Safety Training (BEST) Program. This first-time event will feature pit stops for free samples at a diverse array of Monterey Park eateries.

All punctual participants will receive a free raffle ticket, with t-shirts and other goodies up for grabs. Riders upon festively lighted bikes will receive an additional raffle ticket!

  • 6:30pm – Sign-in and early-bird raffle at MPK Chamber of Commerce, El Encanto, 700 El Mercado Ave, Monterey Park, CA 91754

  • 7:00pm – Ride Departs

  • 9:00pm – Ride Finish

Start/Finish: El Encanto (700 El Mercado Ave, Monterey Park, CA 91754)

Route: 5 miles, some moderate hills

What to Bring | Please Note: 

  • Bike lights!

  • A functional bicycle or wheeled device. 

  • A TAP card or money for fare if you plan to use the Foothill Gold Line. 

  • A helmet is required if under 18.

  • Bikes with training wheels are not permitted, but children are welcome to attend if pulled in a trailer or on-bike child seat.

*** PLEASE NOTE: All ride participants must sign this waiver to participate. A parent or legal guardian is required to sign for any minors under 18 participating in the ride. ***
